PrepperPetSupply is a licensed, vet-staffed pharmacy. The medical information here’s not written to sell you something. Every disease guide and product page is reviewed by a licensed veterinarian with real expertise in that animal. These are the veterinarians who stand behind what you read here.
Why this matters: On a site about medications for a sick pet, you deserve to know who’s accountable for the clinical claims. Ours are made and checked by named, licensed, credentialed veterinarians, not anonymous copywriters. When a page says “Medically reviewed by” a veterinarian, that’s a real review by the person named, and their qualifications are below.
How our review works
Each species lane has its own veterinary reviewer. Fish medicine isn’t the same as bird or dog-and-cat medicine. We don’t pretend one vet covers them all.[1] A page is only marked “Medically reviewed by” a vet after that vet has actually reviewed it. Until then, it’s marked as pending review. Dosing and clinical decisions are always governed by the reviewing veterinarian, never asserted by the site alone.[1]

What review does and doesn’t mean
A veterinary review means a licensed vet has checked the page for clinical accuracy. It isn’t a substitute for your own veterinarian consulting a licensed veterinarian. Our guides will often tell you to consult a licensed veterinarian. That willingness to say no is part of what the review is for. The site carries responsibility for the business. The reviewers are responsible for the accuracy of the content they sign.

Each reviewer is a licensed veterinarian with specialist credentials in their species area. Their qualifications, professional profiles, and published work are linked on their individual pages so you can review them directly.
Does a vet review every page?
Every clinical guide and product page is reviewed by the veterinarian for that species lane before it’s marked as reviewed. Pages awaiting review are labeled as pending.
Is a review the same as my pet being examined?
No. Review confirms the information is clinically accurate. It doesn’t replace your own licensed veterinarian consulting on your specific animal.
Who is responsible for what?
The reviewing veterinarian is responsible for the accuracy of the clinical content they sign. PrepperPetSupply, the business, carries the commercial and legal responsibility for the site.
How this guide is reviewed
This guide is written to be checked and signed off by a licensed small-animal veterinarian before it’s published. Until that review is complete, it’s marked pending review. Our aim is clear, owner-readable guidance that matches veterinary references, including telling you when the right move is to consult a licensed veterinarian, even though we’re a pharmacy.
